Microsoft is planning a new Xbox Series X with no floppy disk and some hardware upgrades.

The console’s processor will feature eight processor cores based on the Zen 2 architecture. CPU clock speeds will increase from 3.5GHz to 4.0GHz. The new graphics chip will receive an upgrade from RDNA 2 to RDNA 3 and increase the number of compute blocks from 36 to 60. The clock frequencies of the graphics chip will increase from 2.23 GHz to 2.5-2.8 GHz. The PS5 Pro graphics chip will have similar specifications to the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT. The processor is only slightly faster, but the GPU allows the Pro model to play games at higher resolutions.
