Acer has launched the new Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop in China, packing an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. The system is priced around $4,333.

At its heart is the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor featuring 24 cores-eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores-with a maximum boost clock of 5.7GHz. The chip also integrates an NPU designed to accelerate AI workloads across gaming, productivity, and content creation. The platform is built around the Z890 chipset and capped at a PL1 power limit of 200W to ensure stable long-term performance.

Graphics duties are handled by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 equipped with GDDR7 memory and support for DLSS 4 with frame generation. The GPU delivers up to 1800 TOPS in AI-related performance tasks.

Cooling comes courtesy of Acer’s FrostBlade X360 system, which includes a 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler and three ARGB fans. The chassis features panoramic tempered glass side panels with EMI shielding and RGB lighting capable of 16.7 million colors, adjustable through the PredatorSense app. Notably, the case uses 85% PCR recycled plastic in its construction.

The desktop ships with 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM across four DIMM slots, expandable up to 128GB. Storage options include a 2TB SSD, one M.2 PCIe Gen5 slot, two M.2 PCIe Gen4 slots, and hot-swappable SSD support. Additionally, two 3.5-inch drive bays are available for HDDs.
