Oppo has launched the A6x smartphone in 4G and 5G versions
Oppo has expanded its A6 lineup with the new A6x, which comes in two variants at once — 4G and 5G support.
The main difference between the versions is the processor. The Oppo A6x 4G model (CPH2819) is built on a Snapdragon 685 chipset, while the Oppo A6x 5G version (CPH2823) is powered by a Dimensity 6300 processor.
The rest of the specifications of both models are the same. The smartphones run on ColorOS 15 and feature a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with 120Hz, up to 1,125 nits of brightness (HBM) and support for glove control (GloveTouch). The main camera uses a 13-megapixel module, the front camera — 5-megapixel. A 6500 mAh battery with support for 5W wired reverse charging is responsible for autonomy.

Only the charging functionality differs, with the Oppo A6x 5G supporting 45W fast charging, while the 4G version lacks fast charging. Also, the A6x 4G specs list a monochrome camera on the back, but for the A6x 5G, Oppo hasn’t revealed details about the second module yet.
Some versions get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C connector, 3.5mm audio jack and IP64 protection.
Oppo A6x 4G comes in Ice Blue and Plum Purple colors and is available in 4/64GB, 4/128GB and 6/256GB configurations. The base model is already on sale in Malaysia on Oppo’s official website priced at RM399.
