EX1/EXR1 mini-PC with Apple HomePod speaker design released

An unusual mini PC EX1/EXR1 offered by Chatreey and Soayan has been introduced in the Chinese market. Visually, the device looks more like an Apple HomePod smart speaker, thanks to its cylindrical body with fabric upholstery, stylish backlighting on top and laconic design. But inside, it’s a full-fledged computer.

The key feature of the EX1/EXR1 is that it has two built-in speakers with 10W each, allowing you to use the device to listen to music or watch movies. It is powered only by mains power, as there is no rechargeable battery. Despite its compact size (167×112mm), this mini-PC can handle demanding tasks.

It’s powered by an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor with integrated Radeon 780M graphics. Slots are provided for DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM and an NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. Support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 makes the EX1/EXR1 a complete multimedia center.

The rear panel has all the ports you need: USB4 Type-C (40Gbps, DP, USB-PD 100W), three USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, 2.5G Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an input for a 19V power adapter. A customizable light ring adorns the top of the case, and cooling vents are located at the bottom.

The price of the mini-PC starts at around $480 (39,200 rubles) and varies depending on configuration and seller.
