Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro will be equipped with Exynos 2600 processor

Samsung is expected to unveil its next line of flagship smartphones — the Galaxy S26 series — in February 2026. According to numerous leaks, it will include three models: the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Most sources claim that the smartphones will feature an Exynos 2600 processor in most regions, while in select markets the devices will get Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. SamMobile publication SamMobile has found confirmation that the line’s youngest and most affordable model — the Galaxy S26 Pro — is indeed powered by the Exynos 2600.
This configuration is likely to remain for most countries. However, for the US and China, Samsung will install the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which was unveiled last month, according to insiders. The Galaxy S26+, which the company recently began developing as part of its revised plans, will also reportedly follow the same chip allocation scheme as the S26 Pro model.

Leaks had previously reported that the Exynos 2600 will be manufactured using Samsung Foundry’s 2-nanometer process technology. The chip will have a 10-core processor with ARM’s C1-series architecture, and graphics will be handled by the Xclipse 950 video gas pedal based on AMD’s RDNA architecture.
Preliminary reports suggest that the Exynos 2600 will deliver better performance than the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Apple A19 Pro found in the iPhone 17. However, it’s not yet known if it can compete with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and MediaTek Dimensity 9500. Mass production of the Exynos 2600 is reported to have started in September.
