Demand for Xiaomi YU7 crossovers has increased in Russia

Registrations of the new Xiaomi YU7 electric crossover increased noticeably in Russia in September. According to Sergei Tselikov, director of the analytical agency Avtostat, 40 cars were registered in the first three weeks of the month alone, including the top-equipped versions.
After debuting in China in May, the 2024 model made its way to Russia by August, when the first 12 registered cars appeared. Already in September, the momentum has more than tripled.

Technical specifications and modifications
Eight Xiaomi YU7 Max crossovers are among the registered vehicles. This version is equipped with a 101.7 kW∙h battery and two electric motors with a combined output of 690 hp and 866 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.2 seconds, top speed reaches 253 km/h, range on a single charge – up to 760 kilometers.
The Xiaomi SU7 sedan arrived in Russia earlier, with sales starting in June 2024. Now 20-30 such cars are sold in the Russian market every month. The total number of registered Xiaomi electric cars has already exceeded 400 units. All of them are imported unofficially.
