OnePlus 12: new renders leaked

The CAD renders of the OnePlus 12 that surfaced in July revealed that the smartphone will feature a center-perforated display and a circular camera island on the back that will house three cameras. Now the same source — OnLeaks — has shared a new set of renders of the smartphone that show a different design for the camera island.

In the new design, the camera island has four circles instead of three. Also changed is the Hasselblad logo, which now sits to the left of the cameras instead of between the rows of cameras. Other than those changes, everything else has remained the same. OnLeaks claims that the new renders are based on photos of a pre-production OnePlus 12.

OnePlus has yet to reveal anything about the device, but the smartphone is rumored to be unveiled in China in December, with a global debut in January 2024. It will feature the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 24GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, as well as the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 operating system.
OnePlus has not yet announced the device.

The smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, underneath which sits a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a hole for a 32MP selfie camera. The triple camera system on the back will consist of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP periscopic camera (with 3x optical zoom). The device will be backed by a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
