DJI Mini 5 Pro unveiled: drone with 1-inch sensor, 20km range and 4K/120 FPS

The company DJI officially unveiled a new compact drone Mini 5 Pro, which is a direct successor to the Mini 4 Pro model. The new drone gets a professional 1-inch sensor, advanced filming features and improved safety systems, all while maintaining portability.
Camera and video features
The main upgrade is a camera with 1-inch CMOS sensor 50 MP resolution. The drone supports shooting in 4K at 60 fps with HDR and up to 120 fps without HDR. The camera is mounted on a 3-axis mount with up to 225° rotation angle, allowing you to shoot in vertical format without loss of quality.

The DJI Mini 5 Pro gets a set of smart modes: ActiveTrack 360°, FocusTrack and Spotlight. Additional features include MasterShots (preset trajectories for fast-paced videos), QuickShots (modes for short videos) and Quick Transfer (fast file transfer).
Flight Performance and Safety
The drone can stay in the air for up to 36 minutes on a single battery charge, and has an FCC-compliant maximum range of 20 km.
Safety is taken care of by directional obstacle detection, realized with new LiDAR- and Vision-sensors. This makes the Mini 5 Pro suitable for flying in challenging conditions and increases the level of automation.
