These Xiaomi models will be updated for 6 years – check yours out

Xiaomi has expanded its device support policy to offer up to six years of software updates. We’re not just talking about flagships, but mid-range tablets and smartphones as well.
The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra were the first to get such a commitment, and then other models joined in. Longer support keeps devices up to date for longer and protects them from new threats, reducing the need for frequent upgrades.

Xiaomi and support timing records
A policy of six years of updates puts Xiaomi on par with the Android market leaders. What’s more, some of the brand’s devices, such as the Redmi Pad 2, get up to seven years of security updates -more than Samsung and Google.
It’s noteworthy that the list includes not only flagships, but also more affordable models like the Redmi Note 14 (4G) and Poco F7. This makes long-term support accessible to a wider audience and could set a new standard for the market.
