New leaks about HMD Skyline 2 and Skyline 2 GT

There have been reports of work on a new version of this device. While the Skyline 2 is believed to be in development, a new leak has also revealed the existence of a more powerful model, the Skyline 2 GT. Below are the alleged specifications of both devices.

According to HMD Meme’s source, the Skyline 2 GT will feature a 6.55-inch flat-panel P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of brightness. While screen resolution is not yet specified, it is expected to support FHD+ – similar to the previous model.
Beneath the hood of the Skyline 2 GT is a third-generation Snapdragon 7 processor and 12GB of RAM. A 5,000mAh battery will provide 45W wired charging and Qi 2.0 wireless charging with a built-in magnet. The device comes pre-installed with Android 15.
The cameras on the Skyline 2 GT include a 50MP front camera and a triple main camera with 108MP + 50MP + 50MP + 50MP modules each with optical stabilization (OIS) support. The rear panel also houses a ToF sensor for improved depth performance. Additional features include a shortcut button, camera button, Bluetooth 5.3, stereo speakers, and an IP67-rated body.
What about the Skyline 2 model, it’s supposed to have a similar display – a 6.55-inch FHD+ P-OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of brightness. Inside, there’s a third-generation Snapdragon 7s processor and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging and Qi 2.0 wireless charging support.
The optical system includes a 50MP front-facing camera and a triple module on the back: a 108MP main camera and additional 13MP each with OIS support. Expected features include Android 15 with three-year updates, stereo speakers, IP54 protection, and Gen 2 self-healing technology.
