Three new DJI drones and the Osmo Nano action camera are getting ready to launch

DJI, one of the market leaders in drones and cameras, is preparing several new devices at once. According to DroneXL, the company is preparing to unveil three new drones: the Mini 5 Pro, Avata 3 and Neo 2, as well as the DJI Osmo Nano action camera. The information is confirmed by leaked images, videos and fresh data from the FCC database.
The published DroneXL video shows two drones: the alleged followers of the Avata 2 and Neo. The Avata 3 has a battery closer to the tail, a larger camera module, and four-bladed propellers (instead of three-bladed on the Avata 2). A Neo 2 prototype can be seen nearby, which, according to leaks, has received updated propeller guards.

A separate leak from DroneXL concerns the Mini 5 Pro model. According to the FCC, the new drone will get a 33.5Wh battery – that’s almost twice the capacity of the Mini 4 Pro (18.9Wh). The documents also indicate the characteristics of signal transmission: Mini 5 Pro will be able to broadcast video at a distance of up to 25 kilometers, which is 5 kilometers more than the previous model. The Mini 5 Pro is expected to go on sale in September 2025.
In addition to the drones, the FCC revealed information about a new device, the DJI Osmo Nano action camera. According to preliminary reports, the camera will have a modular display like the DJI Action lineup. The DJI Mic 3 and the new DJI Osmo 360 camera are also expected to be released, but there’s no exact timeline for their release yet.
DJI hasn’t officially commented on the leaks, but given the FCC’s release of the data, announcements of new devices could come as soon as the next few months.
