Honor has set a launch date for its flagship GT Pro smartphone
By ForGeeks Honor has officially announced the release date for its new GT Pro smartphone – it will premiere on April 23 at 2:30 p.m. local time in China. The model will be the older version of the Honor GT released in December, and is aimed at users expecting flagship-level performance and features.
Honor has also announced that the GT Pro will be the latest version of its flagship smartphone.
In honor of the announcement, the company has shared the first official images of the device. Visually, the GT Pro differs from the base model: the camera unit is now centered on the back panel and looks more austere. Only the branded GT inscription in the lower right corner has been retained. With this design Honor emphasizes the higher status of the novelty.
Preliminary leaks suggest that the Honor GT Pro will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device will get a 6.78-inch flat screen with «1.5K» resolution, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 6,000 to 6,999mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.
