It has been revealed that the camera island on the back will be round, perhaps similar to its predecessor. The photo is supposedly the shape of the Mate 60’s back cover. It will be used to create the back panel of the phone. As you can see, the island is circular in shape, with four camera holes and a few more for various sensors.

The island will be round.

The layout of the cameras is different from the one on the Mate 50, however. The periscopic zoom lens is rumored to «use new technology». The circle below the camera island is meant to mold the area of the wireless charging coil.

The Mate 50 is rumored to use a new technology.

Some reports have previously claimed that Huawei could do away with Qualcomm and use a mysterious chipset of its own design, but at this point Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 seems to be the preferred option.
