Xbox Series X/S: Stormcloud Vapor controller has been leaked
By ForGeeks Another new Xbox Series X/S wireless controller has leaked online ahead of its official announcement. According to Dealabs contributor billbil-kun, who has a long track record of reliable leaks, the new controller will be called the Stormcloud Vapor.
The controller, which billbil-kun said was codenamed Jemez, is scheduled for release on August 8. However, the company emphasizes that this date is subject to change, «as has been the case with some controllers released this year».
The company said that it is not aware of the possibility of a change.
The controller will also be priced at $69.99. A leak previously suggested it could be a limited edition Forza Motorsport controller, but given how regularly Microsoft has released variations of Xbox controllers this year, there’s a chance that the Stormcloud Vapor controller is unrelated to the game and a standalone Forza controller will arrive closer to its Oct. 10 release.

Microsoft has already released six new Xbox controller models for 2023, so the Stormcloud Vapor controller will likely be the seventh. In February, the company introduced and released the blue-and-purple Stellar Shift controller, and in March — the Velocity Green controller.
The red and blue versions of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller were also released in March. A peach and pastel blue-themed Sunkissed Vibes controller was released in May, and in June — a limited-edition Starfield controller.
