Redmi Note 13 Pro+ gets Xiaomi 13 design

If you follow the usual release schedule for the Redmi Note lineup, the Note 13 will be released in China this fall, but an interesting rumor about a top-of-the-line model has surfaced earlier than expected. The Note 13 Pro+ will reportedly get a design inspired by the Xiaomi 13, as evidenced by leaked schematics on Weibo.

The report was posted on the Digital Chat Station website but has since been removed. The schematics show a flat screen design, flat side bezels and a camera island reminiscent of the Xiaomi 13. The biggest difference will be the size: the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be based on a 6.7-inch display, while the Xiaomi 13 measures 6.36 inches.

A post on Weibo also revealed that the phone will ship with MIUI 15 out of the box, but as is usually the case with Xiaomi updates, it doesn’t guarantee Android 14. But it’s possible that the device will indeed be running Android 14 by the time it hits the global market next January.
