Oppo A5 Pro has hit the global market

Oppo has extended the availability of the A5 Pro outside China, but the international version is noticeably inferior to the original released in December 2024.
The main change is the replacement of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with the outdated Dimensity 6300, which is less powerful and power-efficient. Memory options have also been reduced: the device is available with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage, but supports expansion up to 1TB via microSD.

Screen and cameras
While the Chinese version features a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, the global version sports a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a lowered resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels. However, the 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness are retained.
The main camera remains unchanged at 50 MP + 2 MP (depth sensor), while the front camera is 8 MP.
Battery and Protection
The battery capacity has been reduced from 6,000 mAh to 5,800 mAh, but the smartphone still supports 45W fast charging.
But the A5 Pro still offers high levels of protection:
- Certification IP66/68/69 (dustproof and waterproof).
- MIL-STD-810H military standard (enhanced ruggedness).
- 360° drop protection.
