Dubai-based luxury device maker Caviar has unveiled its new luxury models: the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in Bitcoin Edition. These smartphones, which start at $11,130, are plated in 24-karat gold and adorned with detailed 3D engravings of the Bitcoin logo, as well as patterns that reflect the blockchain technology. The design of the devices is in honor of bitcoin, despite the fact that the cryptocurrency remains controversial and lacks legal tender status in a number of countries.

Caviar describes the new models as a “luxurious tribute to the cryptocurrency,” emphasizing bitcoin’s importance in the world of digital finance. The number 47 symbolizes not only the limited edition, but also a reference to the 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump. The company also offers the option to customize the devices, including engraving and design changes.

This isn’t Caviar’s first experience with luxury gadgets. The brand is famous for producing limited, premium versions that combine exclusivity with original concepts. The company recently unveiled the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max called “The Great, The Terrible, The Magnificent,” which is adorned with a 1-kilogram 18-karat gold crown inspired by Ivan the Terrible, Suleiman the Magnificent and Charlemagne. It has a starting price of $301,070.
