Owners of global versions of smartphones realme faced an unpleasant situation — network blocking, which leads to the disabling of the function of phone calls. The problem was noticed by Mobiltelefon resource on the example of the European model realme 11 Pro+. Similar feedback was also received on the 4PDA forum from owners of the realme 11 Pro and C55 models.
Similar difficulties with network blocking have been experienced by buyers of OnePlus and realme devices intended for the Chinese market. However, according to Mobiltelefon, the network unlock instructions for the Chinese realme models did not work for the global versions of the devices.
“Our assumption is that realme is blocking global models in Russia for some reason. Consequently, it is not safe to buy realme and OnePlus global models on AliExpress right now, and the only more or less reliable option is to buy copies with a russified sticker on the box”, – Mobiltelefon

The representative of the Realme Globals Store on AliExpress told a member of the 4PDA forum that the network blocking occurs in those who have been cheated and purchased the Chinese version of the smartphone realme 11 Pro, presented in the packaging of the European version.
