YouTube Music updates artist pages: new “Best Songs” widget

Since the beginning of 2025, YouTube Music has rolled out a new update that affects artist pages. Users can now enjoy new functionality in the form of a “Top Songs” carousel.
New Display System
Previously, artist pages on YouTube Music offered a simple list of the top five songs that were displayed at the top of the page. Users could either start playing directly from the list, or click “More” to view all tracks.
A new display system is now available.
The list has now been replaced by a carousel, which makes the navigation process more modern and user-friendly. The design is reminiscent of the Quick Picks, Trending, and Long Listens sections that are already familiar to users of the app’s homepage.

How does it work?
The carousel displays four songs per scroll, with a total of 20 available tracks spread over five pages. Buttons have been added for convenience:
- “Play all” – to play all tracks in a row.
- “Chevron” – for full access to the song list.

Update availability
The Best Songs carousel feature is now available on Android and iOS devices. This update makes browsing artist pages more intuitive and allows you to find the tracks you want faster.
