For six months, VK experts conducted research to analyze the perception of the current voice and its alignment with the brand. Both emotional coloration and the competitiveness of the sound relative to similar assistants on the market were studied. The results helped identify key characteristics of the new voice, such as kindness, positivity and softness.

The company noted that Marusya will retain its warm and enveloping timbre familiar to users. Currently, the voice assistant is voiced by Elena Solovieva, also known for voicing Trinity from “The Matrix.”
