Hi-Fi Rush’s Arcade Challenge update will add new game modes in July

Tango Gameworks has unveiled new content that will appear in the game Hi-Fi Rush next month.

The Hi-Fi Rush Arcade Challenge update, due out July 5, will introduce two new modes. They will unlock after the game is completed. In the new BPM RUSH mode, players will battle waves of enemies to music with ever-increasing BPMs or beats per minute. As you defeat each wave and fight new enemies, the BPM will increase to the next level, up to a whopping 200 beats per minute!

In the game Power Up! Tower Up! players take on the Rhythm Tower Challenge with a new twist. Power Up! Tower Up! introduces upgrades and bugs between rounds —Upgrades increase Chai’s stats and provide other useful benefits, but at the cost of a lower point multiplier. «Bugs» meanwhile, increase your score potential and get you closer to stylish S-ranks…but there’s a price to pay.
