Honor Watch 5 features a bright 1.85-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 × 390 pixels, which provides a crisp image and smooth performance with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The watch case is made of aluminum alloy on the front and reinforced polymer fiber on the back, which makes the device lightweight – weighing only 35 grams (without strap). The watch supports straps in a variety of materials: composite fabric, leather, and silicone, so you can find a comfortable option for every user.
Positioning accuracy and advanced health features
The key feature of Honor Watch 5 is the unique Honor Polaris positioning module, which supports GPS autonomous operation and compatibility with major navigation systems including BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. The large antenna ensures accurate tracking even in dense environments.
The watch offers multiple health monitoring functions, including heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress level and sleep analysis. A special heart rate monitoring system helps identify possible health risks. With eSIM support, Honor Watch 5 allows you to make calls, receive notifications from two devices and connect to LTE. The device also supports Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and is IP68 rated, making it water and dust resistant.

Battery life and sport modes
Honor Watch 5 features a 480 mAh battery with silicon-carbon anode technology, allowing the watch to be used in multiple battery life modes. In eSIM mode, the battery can handle up to 10 days of use when all functions are enabled, while Bluetooth mode extends the battery life to 15 days. When you’re actively using eSIM without Bluetooth connectivity, the battery will last about 3 days.
The watch offers 97 sport modes, of which 12 are professional modes and 85 can be customized. An interesting feature is the AI-powered weight loss assistant, which helps the user create a diet plan and track calories. More than 5,000 dial options, including interactive ones such as an aquarium theme with mini-games, make using the watch even more fun.
Price and availability of Honor Watch 5
Honor Watch 5 comes in five colors: Morning Gold, Obsidian Black, Pine Green, Moonlight Gray and Snow White. The models in Morning Gold and Obsidian Black colors are priced at 999 yuan (about $140), while Pine Green, Moonlight Gray and Snow White are priced at 1,199 yuan (about $169).
