Nintendo is now ready to make them available to fans at no extra cost.

Update: The new Nintendo Music app is now available in App Store and Google Play.

Features of the new Nintendo Music app

Nintendo Music lets Nintendo Switch Online subscribers listen to and download tunes from their favorite Nintendo games directly to their smartphones. The app supports streaming, creating playlists, and selecting soundtracks by category, character, or game moment. In the app, you can enable track repeat mode and extend individual songs to 15, 30 or 60 minutes for uninterrupted listening.

Music catalog: from Super Mario to The Legend of Zelda to Splatoon

The Nintendo Music library contains iconic tunes from such well-known series as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 3, as well as theme music from Animal Crossing, Super Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong Country, Metroid Prime, Starfox 64, Pokémon, and more. For your convenience, Nintendo has also created themed playlists to help you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of your favorite games and characters.

Additional features for a comfortable listening experience

With Nintendo Music, users can download tracks for offline listening, which is especially convenient for those who are often on the go. The app also features a function to filter out tracks that may contain spoilers. This lets you enjoy your music without the risk of accidentally revealing the plot of games you’ve yet to play.
