The main specifications of Apple’s A18 and A18 Pro processors have appeared online

An insider under the nickname Fixed Focus has shared an interesting report about Apple’s A18 and A18 Pro processors, which are expected to appear in the iPhone 16 lineup. According to the leak, no significant performance differences are expected between the base and Pro versions of the smartphones.

According to the insider, both chips will feature six processor cores with a maximum clock speed of 4.05GHz. The main difference between the A18 Pro and the junior model is the presence of one additional GPU core: six versus five. Otherwise, it is expected that there will be no differences between them.

According to previous rumors, all versions of the iPhone 16 will also have at least 8GB of RAM. Some of that will be dedicated to Apple’s artificial intelligence features. Of the previous-generation models, only the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max support these features.

All iPhone 16 models will also have at least 8GB of RAM.

The iPhone 16 and the company’s other new products are scheduled to be unveiled on September 9.
