Motorola has unveiled a new smartphone called the Edge 50 Neo, which has a number of interesting features: compact size, fast charging speed, body colors, and protection under the strict IP68 and MIL-STD 810H standards.

The centerpiece of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is a 6.4-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2670×1220, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The refresh rate of the screen is 120Hz and the peak brightness reaches 3000 nits. A 32MP front camera is integrated into the screen. The main camera module includes a 50-megapixel main sensor (with OIS), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens with a 10-megapixel sensor and triple zoom.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and is equipped with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support is responsible for the device’s battery life.
Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, IP68 and MIL-STD 810H protection, an eSIM module, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, and a plastic or faux-leather back cover depending on the version. The smartphone measures 154.1×71.2×8.1 mm and weighs 179 grams.
