Vivo has unveiled the V40 and V40 Pro smartphones

Vivo V40 and V40 Pro were officially unveiled today, bringing significant improvements in `battery capacity while maintaining their ultra-thin bodies.
Vivo V40 inherits the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 from the vivo V30, while the vivo V40 Pro has taken a big step forward and now features a Dimensity 9200+ chip, which is much more powerful than the Dimensity 8200 found in the three previous vivo V Pro phones.

The screen now achieves a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, which is a huge improvement over the V30 series’ similarly sized panel. The display has an opening for a single 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 selfie camera.

On the back of the V40 Pro is a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto portrait lens with a Sony IMX816 sensor, and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an unnamed sensor.
