ZTE has unveiled its first foldable smartphone Libero Flip

ZTE has unveiled its first foldable smartphone, called the Libero Flip. This novelty has a body with a vertical folding method and is equipped with a dual camera, a capacious battery and a processor from Qualcomm.
According to official information, the ZTE Libero Flip features a 6.9-inch internal foldable AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2790×1188 pixels and a small 1.43-inch external touchscreen. You can use the external screen to view notifications, step counts, answer calls, control music, use it as a viewfinder, and more.

A Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip serves as the “heart” of the smartphone, complemented by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A 4,310 mAh (33W) battery powers the device, and it runs Android 13.
The rear camera consists of two sensors: a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is also a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Thanks to the smartphone’s hinge, its halves can be fixed at a 90-degree angle, which is convenient for taking pictures without a tripod or making video calls.
Some of the features include support for Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, LTE, 5G, an NFC module for contactless payment and a USB Type-C port. The manufacturer has included a simple and clear interface, call recording for fraud prevention, facial recognition, a fingerprint scanner, and IPX2 and IP4X water and dust resistance.
The ZTE Libero Flip is currently available for pre-order for $420 (RUB 38,800) in blue, beige, and white body colors. It’s scheduled to start selling on February 29.
