Casio has released a limited edition smart watch – TRN-50 Casiotron

In honor of its 50th anniversary, the Casio brand has introduced a new watch model — the TRN-50 Casiotron. This watch is an exact replica of the original QW02 model released in 1974. It is identical to its predecessor in appearance, but with a wider range of functions.

Casiotron’s TRN-50 features a built-in Tough Solar panel that provides continuous power to the watch. In addition, it also supports the Super Illuminator LED screen backlighting to provide a high brightness display. Automatic synchronization with six stations around the world ensures accurate time display.

The manufacturer has also made it possible to connect the TRN-50 Casiotron to your smartphone via Bluetooth. A special mobile app allows you to synchronize the watch’s time with your cellular network four times a day and set reminders for five upcoming events. You can also use the watch to search for your smartphone.

The TRN-50 Casiotron also has a built-in alarm clock, stopwatch, timer and a function to display world time in 39 cities around the world. The watch case is water resistant and can withstand pressure up to 5 bar. A limited edition number is engraved on the back and 4,000 pieces will be produced.
