Brilliant Labs introduced AR glasses Frame with AI features

Canadian startup Brilliant Labs has unveiled AR glasses called Frame — a device that looks like ordinary sunglasses. The gadget, which is inexpensive by the standards of its segment, also features a projection display and useful AI functions, while costing 10 times less than Apple’s headset.
And it’s not just a sunglass.
The Frame AR glasses feature a projection display and can be worn every day. A single Micro-OLED display with a resolution of 640×400 pixels is used to display text information. The gadget also includes Noa, a virtual assistant that can recognize images taken by the camera and search the internet. There’s text translation and even voice translation, as well as answering questions with an advanced GPT-4 system. No subscription price for these services has been announced yet for users of the gadget.

The Frame glasses are powered by two batteries that are placed at the ends of the frame. The developers claim that with moderate use, the charge will last for a full day of use. With a light weight of just 39 grams, these smart glasses don’t cause discomfort even when worn for long periods of time.
