The updated design of the Atom electric car was revealed before its premiere

Developers of Russia’s Atom electric car have concluded that changes to the car before its unveiling are a necessary component. Images are now available of the car in several colors, which are expected to be on sale.
Atom’s design team is currently working on the car.
The changes listed in Telegram channel “ATOM” mainly concern the exterior of the car. The main focus is on reducing the noise level in the cabin, increasing aerodynamic characteristics, improving handling, driving range and ergonomics. The largest innovations relate to changes in the shape of the wheel arches, rearview mirrors, the angle of inclination of the front body and the profile of the rear edge of the hood.
Other changes include the addition of a radar and camera for the ADAS 2.0+ driver assistance system, as well as a new spoiler shape. The diffuser (lower part of the bumper) and rear pillar have also been redesigned to optimize the airflow that forms behind the car while driving.
The changes also affect the contours of the rear doors, as well as making the hinges more robust. In addition, new color options for the body of the car are introduced. Available colors include gray (“Pixel”), blue (“Quantum”), red (“Quark”), purple (“Hertz”), emerald (“Atom”), white (“Foton”), and black (“Neutron”).
A wide range of colors are available.
Mass production of the car is scheduled to begin in 2025. Preliminary specs include a range of up to 500 kilometers, acceleration to 100 km/h in 7-8 seconds and a top speed of up to 170 km/h.
The cost of the electric car is still undetermined.
