Acer introduced the Predator Tomahawk gaming laptop with mini-LED and RTX 4090

Acer has unveiled the Predator Tomahawk gaming laptop in 18-inch and 16-inch screen versions. The main feature of the novelty is the flagship hardware, which can compete with high-performance desktop solutions. In addition, the laptop received a bright “cyber sports” display and the ability to improve the drive.
The Acer Predator Tomahawk’s hardware platform includes a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900HX processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card (175W). Regardless of the screen size, the novelty is equipped with Mini-LED backlighting and has a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a response time of 3 ms and 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage. Additionally, a refresh rate of 250Hz and support for HDR10 (1,000 zones of local dimming) are announced.
Cooling for performance hardware is provided by two fans with five heat pipes (TDP up to 250W). Other features include Wi-Fi 7, 2TB NVMe storage (PCIe 4.0), a pair of free M.2 slots, and a 2.5-inch hard drive bay.
The 16-inch version of the Acer Predator Tomahawk is priced at $2,777 ($252,400), while the 18-inch version is priced at $3,610 ($328,100).
