TCL announced the upcoming launch of the TCL 505 low-cost smartphone
TCL has revealed the upcoming launch of its new affordable smartphone — TCL 505, and revealed detailed technical specifications of the device. One of the main features of this new product will be anti-reflective coating of the display and the use of special technology to optimize the image.
The device will be available in a variety of colors.
The smartphone will feature a 6.75-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution, 90 hertz refresh rate and 400 cd/m2 peak brightness. According to the manufacturer’s claims, NXTVISION technology will filter harmful blue light, reduce glare and improve color reproduction. “At the heart of this device will be the MediaTek Helio G36 mobile platform, paired with 4GB of RAM (plus 4GB of virtual memory) and 128GB of internal storage.”

The smartphone’s rear camera will consist of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor. The 5 MP front camera is designed for selfies and video calls. The device will be managed by the operating system Android 14, and for its autonomy will be responsible for its battery capacity of 5010 mAh (charging power will be 10W). The manufacturer also notes the presence of stereo speakers.
TCL 505 will be available in blue and gray color options and the price of the device will be announced at a later date.
