Google has launched a native version of Chrome for Windows on ARM without much pomp. As a reminder, the latest version of Canary runs on Windows 10 and 11 with Qualcomm chips. Google hasn’t made an official announcement about the timeline for releasing Chrome for Windows on ARM in the stable channel. These builds are unstable and often contain bugs, it is recommended to wait before using the ARM64 version of Google Chrome. Speaking of which, Firefox and Edge already support Windows on ARM, providing alternatives for those who don’t want to use Chrome. Google is making its browser ARM-friendly for Windows, which is a big deal given the browser’s dominance in the desktop market.
