Amazfit has released a firmware update for the Amazfit Active that adds several interesting features.
The main feature, however, is an update to the ZeppCoach AI trainer, which has become capable of generating training plans for 3, 5, and 10 kilometer runs. The wearer of the device can assess their fitness after a workout thanks to the updated PeakBeats algorithm. It displays information on maximum oxygen consumption, training load level, recovery time and training efficiency.
In addition, the updated smart watch now recognizes a new gesture called a flick, which displays workout stats. Unfortunately, this feature hasn’t been demonstrated by the company yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see. Finally, Zepp’s smartphone app for smartwatches now provides information on heart rate recovery rate after the update.
The update is already available for Amazfit Active users in different parts of the world. You can check for the update in the settings section of the Zepp app on your smartwatch.
