Intel is preparing to release Arc Battlemage Xe2 graphics cards

It has been revealed that Intel is currently focused on developing graphics architectures for the Celestial generation of graphics cards. The Celestial generation is expected to be released after Battlemage, expected later this year. The first generation of discrete graphics cards from Intel is not in high demand among customers. This has caused rumors to spread that the company plans to drop competition in this market segment.

It’s worth noting that about 30% of Intel’s 3D card team is now working on Battlemage, mostly on software. This is similar to the situation where Nvidia announced work on the GeForce RTX 60 lineup, leaving work on the RTX 50 on the software side. Speaking of which, Intel is not sure that it will have time to release next-generation graphics cards before the end of this year. Earlier Intel said that Battlemage lineup will include maximum adapters with TDP around 225W.
