Redmi Computer Speaker: a compact soundbar for PCs and laptops
By ForGeeks Redmi is expanding its tech catalog with a new compact soundbar called the Redmi Computer Speaker. It’s reasonably priced and offers a number of interesting features, including both wired and over-the-air connectivity, as well as auto-tuning in various scenarios.
The device has four speakers and uses a “professional” digital signal processor (DSP), which the manufacturer says automatically adjusts the sound for different types of content such as music, games and movies. It also has Hi-Fi certification, but the frequency response specifications of the speakers have not been disclosed.
The soundbar features RGB LED lighting that pulses to the beat of the music, and a rotary volume control on the side. You can use the device’s S/PDIF and AUX ports to connect to a signal source, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity.
Redmi Computer Speaker will go on sale starting December 7 at a price of 199 yuan (2,600 rubles). There’s no information about its availability in other regions yet.
