The smartphone will be one of the first in the mid-price segment to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 processors, which have the ability to run generative neural networks even without an internet connection.
According to the official teaser, the Vivo S18 will utilize the powerful BlueLM language model with 7 billion parameters in local mode and up to 13 billion parameters in network mode. The same neural network is installed in the flagship X100 series, which is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. However, there’s no solid information about the hardware platform of the Vivo S18 smartphone yet.

According to sources, the new product could be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with an advanced neuromodule. According to online sources, the basic version of the smartphone could have a side-curved display with a maximum brightness of 2,800 nits and a 50MP camera with optical image stabilization, while the Pro version could also feature a Dimensity 9200+ processor, Sony IMX920 sensor, Wi-Fi 7 module, 50MP wide-angle lens and an advanced portrait camera.
