Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra could turn out to be a renamed version of the Pad 7 Max

The company appears to be gearing up to launch the third tablet in the Pad 7 lineup, but it may have a different name than expected. A new Bluetooth SIG certification indicates that the device may come out as the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra.
The tablet is registered under model number 25032RP42C in the Bluetooth SIG database, which is usually one of the last steps before a product’s commercial launch. Previously, the same model appeared on Chinese certification site 3C, where it was stated that the device supports 120W fast wired charging.
The device is also listed on the Bluetooth SIG database, which is usually the last step before a commercial launch.
As far as specs are concerned, the name change from “Max” to “Ultra” doesn’t necessarily signify a change in the company’s strategy. Based on leaks and speculation, it’s expected to be the flagship model in the Pad 7 lineup, surpassing both the standard Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro.

The new tablet will reportedly feature a 14-inch OLED display with narrow bezels and a center camera hole. Unfortunately, the rest of the specs remain unknown for now.
If Xiaomi maintains last year’s strategy, the Pad 7 Ultra could be based on the Pad 6 Max model. That version already includes a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 14-inch LCD display with 2.8K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a 10,000+ mAh battery. In addition, the Pad 6 Max has four speakers, dual rear cameras, and support for reverse charging.
The Pad 6 Max also has four speakers, two rear cameras, and support for reverse charging.
Although none of this is yet confirmed for the new model, given the current certification, we can expect an official announcement of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra soon.
