Leaked: HMD Vibe 2 will get Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 8GB RAM

According to HMD Meme’s insider X account (formerly Twitter), HMD Global is preparing to release the second generation of the Vibe smartphone. While the device is still aimed at the budget segment, the specs are much closer to the mid-range.

The smartphone will be built on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform, a tangible step up from the Snapdragon 680 that was in the original model. RAM will grow to 8GB, while onboard storage will grow to 256GB. Support for microSD cards up to 512GB will also be available.
The screen is a major upgrade too, with the Vibe 2 getting a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. That’s a noticeable step up from the 6.55-inch HD LCD display in the first version.
