Top 5 cool gadgets that were shown at CES 2026

At the annual International Consumer Electronics Show, CES 2026, the world saw impressive gadgets showcasing the rapid advances in technology. Each exhibit highlighted key trends: the deep integration of artificial intelligence, increased energy efficiency, enhanced personalization capabilities, and the blurring of boundaries between the virtual and real worlds.

These developments not only set new standards for convenience and performance, but also hint at how our everyday experience with technology may change in the near future.

Xreal 1S

Xreal 1S is an AR glasses that automatically converts 2D video to 3D in real time. The device features two Sony OLED displays (0.68 inches, 1920×1200 pixels resolution, refresh rate up to 120Hz), brightness up to 700 nits and latency of only 3ms. In 3D mode, the refresh rate drops to 30Hz.

The glasses weigh just 82g and support head tracking. There’s an external Xreal Neo powerbank and two USB-C ports for increased battery life. It’s compatible with smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles, and its high color fidelity makes for a realistic picture for work and play.

Dreame Cyber X

Dreame Cyber X is a revolutionary robotic vacuum cleaner that can navigate flights of stairs on its own. Its key feature is its modular architecture: the device consists of two components – a robotic vacuum cleaner and a track-driven Bionic QuadTrack transportation platform. The platform finds the vacuum cleaner after cleaning on the floor, automatically docks with it and transports it to the next level, where the robot undocks and continues its work.

The system features Smart 3DAdapt technology with lidars and 3D cameras to accurately map the stairs and calculate a safe path. The batteries have a combined battery capacity of 6,400 mAh, allowing it to clear up to five floors without recharging. For now, the Dreame Cyber X remains a concept that demonstrates the vector of development of home robotics.

Roborock Saros Rover is a robotic vacuum cleaner unveiled at CES 2026 that can climb and descend stairs on its own for the first time. The device has articulated legs with wheels that not only allow it to climb stairs (including curved and spiral stairs), but also to balance on uneven surfaces, bounce, turn in place, and remain stable in the face of external shocks.

The robot uses AI, motion sensors, and 3D data to precisely calculate trajectory and coordinate the “wheeled legs.” It is capable of handling slopes and level differences between rooms. While specifications and a release date have not yet been announced, Roborock emphasizes that the Saros Rover is not a concept, but a real product being prepared for release.

Gemini at Samsung Family Hub

The new Samsung Family Hub refrigerators incorporate Google’s Gemini AI model, which has greatly improved the AI Vision system. While the device used to recognize only a limited set of foods (up to 37 types of fresh and about 50 prepackaged), it now identifies virtually any food – including sliced, uncut, and pre-packaged items.

Gemini helps you manage inventory more efficiently by automatically keeping a list of products and telling you what you’re running low on. Based on this data, Samsung Food suggests recipes using available ingredients. In addition, voice commands via Bixby and touchless gesture control are now available.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold is the first triple-fold smartphone with a G-fold mechanism: two side displays cover the center display, protecting it from scratches and dust. Although we knew about the smartphone before, it officially debuted at CES 2026. When unfolded, the device turns into a tablet with a 10-inch screen; when folded, it works like a regular smartphone with a 6.5-inch outer screen.
