Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones will be honored with the Recycling Design Award from the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA). This annual award recognizes products with the highest sustainability and green credentials. The South Korean company’s new flagship uses many components made from recycled materials.

ReMA honored Samsung’s sustainability efforts

Starting in 2006, ReMA, North America’s leading recycling organization, has awarded the award for the most sustainable product of the year. The winner for 2025 is the Galaxy S25 series. The evaluation looks at the percentage of recycled materials, minimizing the ecological footprint of manufacturing, ease of post-consumer recycling and the economic viability of recycling.
