It’s been 14 years since the death of Steve Jobs

October 5 marked the 14th anniversary of Steve Jobs’ death. The Apple founder passed away in 2011, in his 57th year, just 24 hours after unveiling the iPhone 4S and voice assistant Siri.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has once again addressed Jobs’ memory. In a post on his page, he wrote:
“Steve saw the future as a bright and limitless place, lighting the way forward and inspiring us to follow him. We miss you, my friend.”
“We think of him every day.”
Cook has brought up Steve Jobs more than once at public events. Opening Apple’s first show at the Steve Jobs Theater in 2017, he noted, “Not a day goes by that we don’t think of him.” Then the company unveiled the iPhone X, a radical update to the smartphone that Jobs first showed the world in 2007.
