Poco F8 Ultra has been tested in Geekbench

Poco appears to be preparing an early launch of the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro — well ahead of the March anniversary of the last series. Despite the lack of an official announcement, the devices are already undergoing certification in various countries. What’s more, the Poco F8 Pro’s box was previously spotted with the «Sound by Bose».

The Poco F8 Ultra has now appeared in the Geekbench database, revealing a key detail —the smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The tested sample had 16GB of RAM and ran Android 16, on top of which the proprietary HyperOS 3 shell is expected to run at release, meaning that in terms of performance, the F8 Ultra will match the flagship level.
Other specs have yet to be revealed, but it’s almost certain that the F8 Ultra will turn out to be a renamed version of the upcoming Redmi K90 Pro Max. If the leaks are true, the smartphone will get a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1200×2608, 120Hz, peak brightness of 3500 nits, and a PWM of 2560Hz.
Expect up to 1TB of internal storage and a triple camera: a 50MP main module with optical stabilization, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera is —32 MP.
The device will feature a Bose audio system: two stereo speakers and a separate subwoofer on the back. Also expected is a large 7,560 mAh battery with support for 100-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging.
An official launch date is still unknown, but judging by certification activity, a release is imminent.
