Oura revealed an updated version of the Ring 4 smart ring

Finnish manufacturer Oura has unveiled an improved version of its Ring 4 smart ring. The key specs of the gadget remain the same, but the device now features improved durability and comfort for everyday wear, as well as new color options.

The main difference between the updated model and its predecessor is the body material — a zirconia ceramic compound. According to the company, this is an extremely wear-resistant and colorfast material that can leave scratches even on certain metal surfaces.

The improvements have affected the dimensions of the device: the thickness has increased from 2.88mm to 3.51mm and the weight — from 5.1 grams to 8.1 grams. At the same time, the dimensions in the circumference of the finger remained the same — from 15.5 to 25.5 in the Russian system. The feature set remains unchanged: the gadget continues to track blood oxygen saturation, heart rate and analyze the user’s sleep phases.
Another addition is the ability to connect multiple rings to the mobile app at the same time. The company also announced a new aluminum charging box that can provide five full charges for the ring itself.

The ceramic version of the Oura Ring 4 in white, pink, mint, and turquoise colors is priced at $499 (R$40,670) in the US market, while the charging case is priced at $99 (R$8,070).
