Crucial introduced LPDDR5X-8533 high-speed memory for notebooks

The manufacturer has announced the launch of LPCAMM2 notebook RAM modules with an impressive operating frequency of 8533 MT/s. These proprietary modules allow you to significantly increase the performance of your laptop computer while keeping it small. The company claims that compared to traditional SO-DIMMs, LPCAMM2 strips based on LPDDR5X chips require 64% less space in the notebook chassis and offer 58% better power efficiency than previous solutions. Crucial currently offers the new format’s modules in capacities up to 64GB, which are typically installed directly by laptop manufacturers. Company officials said they plan to release even faster solutions with up to 9600 MT/s in 2026.
