Oppo Find X9 Pro camera details revealed

Oppo will unveil the Find X9 and X9 Pro flagships in October, and one of the major new features of the Pro version will be a major camera upgrade. According to a fresh report, the smartphone will get a redesigned configuration that replaces the dual 50MP telephoto lenses with a single 200MP module.

The main camera of the Oppo Find X9 Pro will feature Sony’s new 50 MP LYT-828 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch sensor size, 23mm equivalent focal length and f/1.8 aperture. As a reminder, the Find X8 Pro used a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 with a larger 1/1.4-inch sensor and f/1.6 aperture.

For ultra-wide angle shooting, there’s a 50MP Samsung JN5 module with autofocus, which is an improvement over last year’s JN1 without autofocus.

The main change is the replacement of two telephoto lenses with a single Samsung HP5 sensor with 200 MP resolution, optical stabilization, 3x zoom, 1/1.56-inch size, and 70mm focal length. The Find X9 Pro could be the first smartphone in the world with this sensor.

The front camera will also undergo an upgrade. Instead of the fixed 32MP Sony IMX615 module, the 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor with autofocus is now expected.
