Infinix has launched the Note 50s smartphone

Infinix has officially unveiled the new Note 50s 5G smartphone, expanding the Note 50 lineup following the recent release of the Note 50x. The new product emphasizes on performance, display, cameras and design. The manufacturer claims that it is the thinnest 5G smartphone in India – the body is just 7.6mm thick with a curved AMOLED display.

The device features a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass and 10-bit color support. 2304Hz PWM dimming and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage are also claimed.

Performance is handled by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset paired with Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. Support for 90 fps gaming is claimed. On board – 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2 persistent storage, as well as virtual RAM expansion up to 8 GB. The smartphone runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15 and will get two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.

The primary camera is a 64MP Sony IMX682 with 4K video recording support, while the secondary camera is 2MP. There is a 13MP camera on the front. Branded features like AI Eraser and AIGC Mode are present. Of the other features: stereo speakers customized by JBL, an under-screen fingerprint scanner and an IR transmitter.

The battery capacity is 5500 mAh, 45W fast charging is available, as well as support for reverse and bypass charging. An interesting detail: the Marine Drift Blue variant has a vegan leather back with a microencapsulated flavor.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G is priced at Rs 15,999 for the 8+128GB version and Rs 17,999 for the 256GB variant. Available colors are Marine Drift Blue (vegan leather), Titanium Grey and Burgundy Red (both with metallic finish).
