Igroprom 2025 will be held in Moscow from September 19 to 21

An all-Russian festival-exhibition of video games, in 2025 will be held for the third time. The event will take place in Moscow from September 19 to 21 at the MAIN Stage (13 Sharikopodshipnikovskaya St., page 33). Ticket sales will start on May 1.

Igroprom is positioned as one of the largest gaming events in Russia and gathers developers, publishers, investors and a wide audience of players. Last year the festival was attended by thousands of people, and in 2025 it is expected to be no smaller in scale.

Historical format of the festival

The key difference of Igroprom 2025 will be thematic concept based on historical reconstruction. The whole design of the event, part of the interactive zones, costumes of the participants and the stage program will refer to different historical epochs and characters. The main images that are involved in the theme are as follows:

• vikings,
• knights,
• vities,
• Musketeers,
• boyars.

This format will affect both the spectacle part of the festival, as well as gaming activities, costume shows and booth decorations.

Event Structure

The festival is divided into two formats: professional day and open attendance days.

September 19 – business program

The first day of the festival will be dedicated to specialists of the game industry. In the program:

• lectures and speeches by developers and industry representatives;
• investment sessions for startups and studios;
• roundtables and professional discussions;

Only attendees involved in video game development, publishing or investing will have access to the business part.

September 20-21 are days for the general public

The festival weekend will be open to the general public. Visitors will have access to:

• more than 50 game stands from Russian studios and independent developers;
• Cybersport tournaments
• Retro Gaming Zone with classic consoles;
• VR-zone with demonstrations of projects in virtual reality;
• space with board games
• cosplay show timed to the historical theme of the year;
• interactive contests and presentations;
• performances of musical groups
• a rich show program

Igroprom has been held since 2023. According to the organizers, the main goal of the festival is to create an open platform where the professional gaming community and casual gamers meet.
