Honor has unveiled the Play10 budget smartphone powered by Android Go

Honor has officially announced the new affordable Play10 smartphone. Unlike the other models in the series, including the Play10C released a month ago, the newcomer works only on 4G networks and comes with a lightweight version of Android Go.
The smartphone is based on the Helio G81 chipset and will be available in two configurations: 3/64GB and 4/128GB. While 4GB of RAM is hardly a comfortable amount, Honor has opted to use Android Go to lighten the load. The storage can be expanded with microSD cards up to 1TB.
Honor Play10 features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. On the front, there is a 5MP camera in a drop-down notch, and on the back — a 13MP module. Both cameras support 1080p video recording.

A 5000 mAh battery is responsible for battery life, but charging is limited to just 10W via the USB-C 2.0 port.
The smartphone has basic IP52 dust and water protection, with body dimensions of 167.7×77.7×8.55 mm and weight — 189 g. Color options include Ocean Cyan, Starry Purple, and Midnight Black.
Of the nice little things: the smartphone retains the microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio. There’s also a fingerprint scanner, but no NFC. Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.1 are supported.
