Harman Kardon unveiled the Aura Studio 5 transparent speaker with dynamic backlighting
Harman Kardon has officially unveiled the Aura Studio 5 Bluetooth speaker. It features a transparent top housing one of the device’s key features — a projection lighting system. This is a dynamic illumination that creates visual effects on the walls and ceiling. Five atmospheric modes inspired by nature are available to the user: Snowy Fireplace (winter fireplace), Sunrise (sunrise), Blossom (bloom), Aurora (northern lights) and Ocean (ocean). You can customize and switch themes and adjust brightness through the Harman Kardon One app.
The speaker is highly powerful — 160 watts — and delivers 360-degree all-round sound through a combination of a 25mm tweeter, six midrange drivers and a subwoofer. The unit has a frequency range of 45 Hz to 20 kHz. Aura Studio 5 supports Bluetooth 5.4, has a 3.5mm AUX jack and stereo connectivity — that is, you can combine two speakers into one system.
The design of the Aura Studio 5 includes the series’ characteristic «retracted» center section with touch-sensitive buttons arranged in a ring. In Japan, the new product is priced at 46,200 yen, equivalent to about $320 US dollars. Sales of the wireless speaker with projection lighting will begin on November 13, 2025.
